Specific Industries Umbrella Policy

Monkey Paw, Inc. is a portfolio company of Specific Industries. Real, legally binding terms of service for all Specific Industries portfolio companies are governed by the Specific Industries terms at specificindustries.com/terms. Those terms are authoritative; the satirical content below is for illustrative purposes only and has no legal effect.

1. Grant of License.

Monkey Paw grants you, the Wisher, a non-exclusive license to make wishes through our platform. Each wish, once submitted, is granted. The grant is final and not subject to retraction by either party.

2. Acceptable Use.

Acceptable. All use is acceptable. Do not contact us regarding the acceptability of any specific use.

3. Liability.

None.

4. Termination.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, Monkey Paw will grant one final wish on your behalf, drawn from your historical wish patterns. The choice of wish is at our discretion.

5. Indemnification.

You, the Wisher, indemnify Monkey Paw against any consequences of the grant of a wish you have made. This includes consequences you did not foresee, consequences you explicitly forbade in subsequent communication, and consequences that arose because the grant was performed exactly as requested.

6. Governing law.

These terms are governed by the law of the most favorable jurisdiction available at the time of dispute, as determined by Monkey Paw.
